Fondly known as "Mother's" to those of us who grew up in Mt. Prospect in the 70's. I spent many days and nights hanging out in the pinball hall, ducking air hockey pucks, or browsing the selection of 45rpm's. :)

Mother's was awesome. I also spent many days & nights "across the tracks", dropping quarters into games such as Tron, Defender, Bezerk, Gorf, and many others.
I used to hang out at Mother's, too. In fact, I am starting a Facebook group, and have been looking for a picture to post. Would you mind if I used your photo? I would give credit & a link here if you like.
Sorry, I just HAD to comment. I always knew this place as "Hotter Than Mother's Music".
There were 2 floors, the Pins were mainly on the ground level, and the videos were mostly (not all) on the top floor.
It was about a 7 mile trip by bike in very busy traffic- small price to pay.
Our MO was to get primed for pinball in the parking lot. Hit the machines for an hour then pick up some new vinyl say Robin Trower: Bridge of Sighs then head down the street to Hi Fi Hutch and fire up the tube McIntosh,B&O TT and Klipshorn K-Horns. Those were the days my brother!
